Michelina's Lean Gourmet Three Cheese Ziti Marinara
Yuck. This might be the worst frozen entree I've ever eaten. I couldn't even finish it. Just nasty. No stars. Don't buy this. This is what it looks like after being microwaved:

Minute Maid Soft Frozen Lemonade/ Cherry Limeade
I love amusement parks, minor league baseball games, the zoo and my neighborhood ice cream truck because all of them have frozen lemonade. I LOVE frozen lemonade. It's cold and sweet, but not too sweet, and tangy and tart and so much better than ice cream. So I jumped for joy when I saw Kroger had boxes of four cups of Minute Maid Soft Frozen Lemonade on sale for $1.00. Now before you get too excited, these are four ounce cups, not the huge cups that you pay $5 for at the, but for a quarter each, they're more than sufficient. The verdict? These are good enough that I went back to Kroger and bought four more boxes of lemon and four boxes of cherry limeade. The lemon is intensely lemony and really tart with just enough sweetness to take the edge off. There isn't any of the overwhelming sickly sweetness you sometimes find in lemon desserts. The cherry limeade variety isn't quite as good as the lemon. There is a trace of bitterness peeking through, but it's still edible. I like them, just not as good as the original lemonade. Kroger has had these babies on for $1 for several weeks I don't know how much longer they will be on sale, but grab some while you can. Lemon:**** out of ***** Cherry Limeade: ***1/2 out of *****

Cheez-It Pepper Jack Cheese Crackers
I love cheese crackers! I'm actually a fan of Cheese Nips over Cheez-Its, but Cheez-Its have multiple varieties that pique my curiosity. The Sharp Cheddar-Parmesan variety was pretty good, but the Cheez-It Pepper Jack Cheese Crackers weren't very good. They pretty much tasted just like regular Cheez-Its, that's to say I found them pretty bland and not nearly cheesy enough. There was a bit of heat as an afterthought, but not enough to get worked up about. I might finish the box with some soup or a salad, but as far as snacking on them, they just don't have enough flavor to justify the effort of opening the box. ** out of *****

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer
While I've never been a sun-worshipper, I live in the south where the sun is very strong. Add up all of my daily incidental exposure and the time I sit outside watching my daughter play softball, and I have some pretty prominent-at least to me- dark spots along my jawline. I'm constantly looking for something that will even my skin tone without emptying my wallet. I used Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer for about four weeks. It's a light moisturizer, but it really hydrates well. My skin is softer and smoother, and I've noticed the spots on my jawline are slightly, but not significantly lighter.
The "light diffusers" took some getting used to. They're meant to deflect light away from skin flaws, but for a few days, I felt like a walking disco ball. I did get used to them and now I actually like the dewiness this product gives my skin.
There is a slight fragrance, but nothing overwhelming. In fact, it's actually kind of pleasant. As a bonus, this has an SPF 15. Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer retails for around $15, but you can usually find it for around $12.

Michelina's Lean Gourmet Five Cheese Lasagna
Michelina's Lean Gourmet is a line of budget entrees aimed at calories conscious customers. When I say "budget," I mean you can find these on sale for $1 each and you can usually find a coupon. I had a coupon for $1 off any five and Kroger had them on 10 for $10, so I got them for 80 cents each. I'll review each of the different varieties I bought. The first was the five cheese lasagna. Here is the picture from the front of the box:
Here is the picture I took:
Notice a difference? After posting that pic, I shouldn't have to actually follow through with a review, but I promised a review, so here it is: This is a freakishly small portion. I know it was just a buck, but I could get a double cheeseburger at McDonald's for the same price. It was pretty bland. Not terrible, just not very flavorful. The overriding flavor was a somewhat sweet tomato sauce and not much else. If I was starving, I would eat this. I won't buy this again, and I wouldn't recommend that you buy it, either. Final score: ** out of *****.
